Your commitment to us
When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between New College, Oxford and yourself.
No contract exists between you and New College, Oxford for the sale of any tickets until we have received and accepted your order and received payment in full. Once cleared funds are received, there is a binding contract between us.
Prices
The description and price of all tickets will be shown on the New College, Oxford website www.new.ox.ac.uk/visitng-the-college Prices are in UK Sterling and inclusive of VAT, if applicable. All tickets must be paid for in full at the time of booking. Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.
Limitation of Liability
New College, Oxford may not be held liable in any way for a failure to perform any obligation under this agreement if said failure is caused by the occurrence of any unforeseen event beyond New Colleges reasonable control. This includes without limitation, Internet and communication outages, enforced closures, fire, flood, war, or act of God.
Refunds & Cancellations
New College, Oxford does not permit tickets to be refunded after purchase unless otherwise stated.
Online Booking
Once purchased online, tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold. We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals.
Any discounts or offers online are available for limited quantities and time periods only.
You are entirely responsible for entering your details correctly on the Booking Form. You warrant that all details supplied by you are true and accurate. It is your responsibility to check that the details are accurate. New College, Oxford cannot take responsibility for errors with your booking once processed.
Where a person makes a booking on behalf of a party, that person accepts these terms and conditions on behalf of all members of the party and is responsible for all payments due from the party.
Group bookings require a group leader for every 20 people. Groups in excess of 20 will be asked to split into smaller groups and stagger tours to avoid overcrowding.
Booking services with New College, Oxford are only available to persons who are at least 18 years of age.
The purchase of a ticket entitles the bearer to access the College, at the time and date stated on the face of the ticket. Please ensure these details are correct as tickets are not transferable to alternative dates unless otherwise stated.
All visitors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Photography and Filming
Photography is permitted, without tripods or lights, provided this is for personal, non-commercial use. All requests for commercial photography and filming should be submitted to the Bursar bursar@new.ox.ac.uk at least 2 weeks in advance.
Wedding photography is not permitted without written permission from the Bursar per the above. Visitors dressed in wedding attire will not be allowed access to New College, Oxford, professional portrait and engagement photography is also not permitted at New College, Oxford. New College, Oxford reserves the right to ask visitors taking part in unauthorised wedding, engagement, portrait, or commercial photography to leave the premises.
Visitor Data Privacy Notice
Any personal data that you provide when you purchase a ticket to visit New College, Oxford (including name, address, email contact details, bank details, etc.) will be processed under the legitimate interest basis, under the terms and conditions of the Data Protection Act 2018. The data is stored securely and will only be used for the purchase of your ticket and, anonymously, for statistical purposes.
